Loneliness

Adya Arushi
VI A

I love the meadows passing by,
lovely with waving crops,
But now lonely roads and leaves rustling by,
The memories have turned to tear drops.
I missed the time you were here,
You are the one who was so near.
Time when we didn’t care for tickling clocks,
And spent most time for friendly talks.
The time of childhood with tinkling glows,
When we didn’t suffer the life blows.
Wanted to acquaint you of my thought,
On the day help you sought,
But you left on the day we fought
And my mind dried like there’s a drought
I would never forget that I lost A friend who was tied to me like a knot
