I AM FINALLY ME

Earlier I was afraid to do many things in my life,
I was so afraid to even get a hold of knife.
Earlier I had stage fright,
now when I go to stage it feels so right.
It was meant to be,
and now I am finally me.
I knew that a day like this had to come,
and my heart is beating like a drum.
I was afraid to swim in a pool,
now I think swimming is so cool.
I want to say this to you,
that there is nothing I can’t do.
First I was really very shy,
now I had said shyness goodbye.
I am so glad it was meant to be,
that now I am finally me.
