COUSINS

COUSINS

Cousins are the most precious gift of god,
their relationship is as strong as an iron rod.
In the morning sun they play, having fun all day.
They always catch you when you fall,
they even adore you as their beautiful doll.
Being there for each other
it is the strength that has has brought us here today,
holding hands, scolding, guiding
that’s what kept us together everyday.
Facing all the problems
they have been through,
they are one of the persons
who will always be with you.
they are always there to protect you,
loving persons like them are very few.
therefore my dear cousins
I have dedicated this poem for you.

Women

Lavanya Birla

Women

She wasn’t looking for a knight
She was looking for a sword
She wasn’t praying
She is the lord
She doesn’t need a trophy
To know that she won
Her eyes, A know it all
She doesn’t need to be reminded of
She knows she can be all

Poem Friendship

Lavanya Birla
8-B

Poem Friendship
Friendship is always a sweet responsibility
Never an opportunity
Friendship is Love
that even exists above
Friendship makes us alive
Even before it arrives
We are friends Till the end
Because of the time we spend
Because of the love we send
Because of the hearts we mend.

My childhood was very good

Zoya Mukri
8-D

My childhood was very good,
I can still remember me cry for food.
I always learned new words to say,
and then I would talk and talk all day.
Whenever they played music I would always dance,
whenever I had done mistakes, I would try to escape whenever we got a chance.
Whenever I was happy I often sang,
and I was the first one to run whenever the doorbell rang.
I wish you were there to see,
whenever my parents came back home from work how happy I would be.
I had many images to draw,
I always loved to play with straw.
Whenever I remember my childhood I would forget my pain,
I wish I could be a child again.

Love You Mom

Rahul Singh
8 – A

Love You Mom

There are very few people who get mother’s love;
The one who gets are lucky as dove.
The one who cares for us day & night,
The one who shows the way that is always right!
The one who loves & the one who fights
For the one we have unreachable heights
Her efforts have removed darkness from everywhere!!
That is why the world is running so fair.
The one who cries and laughs with me;
The one who protects me like a tree.
God can’t reach everywhere so he made her!!!
Bacause she is none other than MOTHER
thats why:
First word; First letter; First ray;
My Mom!
First teacher; First school; First day ;
My Mom!!

Seasons

Aashnaa Mehta
9-D

The falling of the raindrops on the window pane,
The feeling of success when you get wet in the rain,
The feeling of lying down on the bed with a book to read,
To take a day off to enjoy the rain, we all plead.

In summer, the exact opposite of this is what we like,
To just explore the whole day on our bike,
To go to the beach ,when the sun is shining bright,
To eat an ice cream during summer is a true delight.

In winter, the feeling of drinking sizzling hot soup,
Or sitting huddled around the fire in a group,
The feeling of the cool morning air when you go for a walk,
Or just lazing around with your friends having a nice talk.

Seasons come and seasons go,
Monsoon brings rain, winter brings snow,
In spring leaves grow, while in autumn they fall,
But summer and monsoon are the two seasons I like above all.

The Sad Truth

Yug
12-A

The Sad Truth

Struggle, Jockey, Pain,
Are words disguised
Nothing is vain
Everything is criticized

Let the mind suffer
Let not the body be a part
The journey will be unusually tougher,
Don’t worry, though, It will just be the start

Life isn’t a cake walk
The ups and downs are steep
The sad truth of the talk-
The ocean of problems is very deep

So let yourselves surrender
To courage and this rhyme
‘Cause one isn’t an offender,
In this struggle, and happiness isn’t a crime

MY BEST FRIEND….

Zoya Mohammed Ismail Mukri
8 – D

MY BEST FRIEND….
Friendship would be the best ship to ever sail,
all the best friends will stay together even though some of them might bail,
All the good moments we spend together should cherish,
and all the bad memories from our lives should perish.
All my friends will stand beside me whenever I cry,
but whenever i fail, you are the one who tells me to try.
The way we talk , the things you say,
the way you make it all okay.
If I could wish for one thing,
I will take the smile that you bring.
Catching each others hands we talk all day,
you are always the first person to wish me my birthday.
I have many things left to say to you,
and one of them is ” I love you.”

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

Zoya Mohammed Ismail Mukri
8 D

“you have always fulfilled everything that I have ever dreamed,
and every time I was very grateful although it never seemed.
you were always right on your side,
and stood by me whenever I cried.
you have taken me to many places in this world ,
but you always made me realise that I am your world.
you have always always been a great teacher ,
whether it was for studies or matters of life,
and always told me to be careful while using a knife.
you have always given us surprises,
and you were even happier than me whenever I got prizes.
you have always encouraged me to face my fear,
and you are the reason today I am here.
I want to say this to you out loud,
that I have always wanted to make you proud.
I guess this is the only thing left to say
“happy father’s day ” dear papa have a good day”
